Do Macbooks(non-pro) stretch Warcraft 3?

Hi, I know that warcraft3 does not support wide screen resolutions, and on Macbook Pros it stretches it. However I was wondering if it did the same with the macbooks. Even black bars on the sides of the screen are more acceptable than stretching the image imo. Does anyone have any experience with this? I was thinking about buying a macbook and this would help me make my decision.
