Do late bills go on my credit report?

My roomate lives IN TOWN at school yet never checked our mail for the entire month we were on break. I'm 99% sure the cable bill is past due, and possibly the phone and internet too. I think the rest of the bills I paid before we left. If the bill is only a month overdue is it going to show up on my credit report?

Every utility is in my name.

They'll be under 30 days late.
You're okay, then. Still might want to beat the roommate's ass for sheer stupidity, though.

Agreed on both accounts.

If you can make payments in person at an authorized agent and get a receipt!!!

You see that's why you enroll in electronic billing. You get an email from the company that a bill is due rather than "wondering" if the paper bill came or not. Also, if you want a copy of the bill, I'm sure they will provide you with a PDF file or some other type to print it yourself.

All my bills notify me by email. So I never have to wait for the paper bill.

Yay sounds like I should be ok!

Can't beat his ass...he's a high level black belt in tae kwon do. 😉

I'll have to figure out what to do with the bills over the summer. Electronic is sounding good.
