Do IWILL KK266 mobos run Morgan cores?

I know people have been having problems with the XP procs on the KK266, KK266-R, and KK266+ mobos, but what about with the new Durons - 1.0GHz and higher. These are based on the Morgan core, similar to the XP, so I am curious if people are having the same problems. Are BIOS updates to 10/22 helping.

I have a KK266 rev 1.2 that I am thinking about putting a 1.1Ghz Duron into. Before I buy the sucker, will it run and run stable?

Yes it will work just fine. The Morgan core is the same as the XP core. There is just some architechual differences in between the Duron and the Athlon.

My kk266 (rev 1.2) runs morgan durons and XP's juct fine.
