Just wondering. I built a bunch of AMD quad-core systems, and installed Ubuntu Linux 10.04 64-bit. Curious how printing works under Linux though. Are there any inkjet printers that will work with linux? I don't recall seeing Linux under supported systems on any inkjet printer that I've ever looked at.

Do what I did, just google ink jet printer drivers for Linux. I got many many hits, but most of the hits were for specific brands of printers. Some hits tend to cover just Epsons, other just HP's, others just Canons, and so on. And in some cases there is a different driver for 32 and 64 bit OS's.

I hope that suggestion helps you. You may end up with a large list of possibles, and then narrowing it down to only one pick may be the harder part.
