do inkjet cartridges go bad?

i got a 2-pack of inkjet cartridges like a year ago, printer recently crapped out and I have one of the cart left. it's never been opened, but like i said, its probably a year or more old. think its still good?

Since it's never been opened, it should be ok.

Probably is still good although many state about a yr or so shelf life, they last much longer.

Should have a best-before date on the package or the cart itself.
