Do infractions not go away?

My infraction is expired but it wont go away, and i try to hide it but it keeps popping up. is there any way to get rid of it?
 
i asked how much an mgs4 edition ps3 could sell for, and apparently you cant ask questions like that or something.

so i got a thread crapping violation. sucks, it was an honest mistake.
 
As oldsmoboat notes, infractions don't disappear as they're a record of a user's behavior. The points (which currently aren't used) expire in 10 days, but the infraction stays in the system.

With that said, where are you seeing an infraction pop up? I just tested it, I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary with the infraction system right now. The only information you should be seeing about the infraction is the PM generated when an infraction is issued, and then they're listed on the User Control Panel so that you can see your own record.

Yeah, sorry, thats what i meant. It just annoys me that they stay in the user CP. its trivial but annoying for me. you have the option to hide it by pressing the up arrow, but then it comes right back (unhides) later.
 
where do they show up - guess i don't have any....so you got an infraction about the msg4 ps3 version for asking how much it could go through? i remember reading that thread at the beginning and didn't think much of it, did it get bad? not trying to get you another one or anything, but just want to know what earns you these points - you know what, nevermind, i will just search the forum to see how it went....
