do ibm laptops have integrated usb 2.0 or firewire?

i'm pretty sure they don't have firewire, but i don't know about the usb 2.0 thing. i guess having a pcmcia card wouldn't be that bad.

dolph, what specific IBM lappy are you posting about?

I would think you could add firewire as an option because I added it to my dell about a year ago before I bought it. Have you tried customizing a lappy on the IBM site?

To answer the original question... IBM laptops currently do not offer integrated USB 2.0. Only the high-end A series models and the X30 models offer a 4 pin Firewire port. Of course, both can be added via PC Cards.
