Do i7 920s support NetDMA?

Me neither. I'm thinking it would be something with Intel server chips but i'm not sure.. i do not have the option for it in my bios but it was enabled when i checked my os/reg through cmd..

would this be more a topic for networking?

As far as I know, NetDMA is just a technology utilizing Intel's I/O Acceleration Technology. So any system that supports I/OAT should support NetDMA.

With that said, as far as I can tell, I/OAT is a chipset technology. So it's not a question of whether your CPU supports it, but rather if your motherboard does. And considering it only seems to appear with server motherboards, I'm going to guess not. If you had it, you should be able to find an option to enable/disable it in your BIOS.
