Do I use aftershave when I use electric shaver?

Just got my first electric shaver.

Very convenient.. that I don't have to wet my face n get shaving cream,

but do I need to put on aftershave after I'm done?

umm if it bothers your skin?

doesn't hurt to put on aftershave.... you know moisturizing your skin is good. why do you think girls put on moisturizer all the time?

Ok, well if you enjoy rough skin, sure, but how do you think girls' skin = so smooth? Once oyu go rough, you can't come back. If your skin is still smooth, hell you can make it rough easily.

Aftershave is awful. Makes you smell, and the crap in your pores.

Just use cold water.

I hate using electric shaver's at all. Seems to do more damage, even though it's convenient. I just use that gillette 5 blade thinger with gel sauce. And then a nice lotion with alpha hydroxy acid after. Skin care is important! It's your face!

I use Lectric shave beforehand and aftershave after... the shave... yeah.

If you use aftershave, make sure it has little or no alcohol. It dries out and irritates your skin. Originally alcohol-based aftershave was used to sterilize your skin after being shaved at the local barber. Pretty much tons of customers were shaved with the same blade, so a minimal attempt at keeping bacteria spreading from person to person is needed. Most stores like Target and Wal-Mart have almost zero non-alcohol based ones, but they usually carry Nivea. It's alcohol-free and has some shea butter in it.

yes... use it.. it still has nicks and cuts that aftershave fixes

No moisturizer for me. Axe Kilo had enough moisturizer to make my chest get acne, you can imagine what lotion or aftershave would to to my face. I use ivory soap now, nothing but pure soap, no lotions, none of that crap.
