I haven't been to one of those car washes where you give the guy the keys and he drives it through the building in probably a decade, but I have a coupon for a free wash so I am going today. Am I supposed to tip the guy when he gets to the other end? I don't think interior cleaning is included with the coupon, but if it is it's something really fast.

Naw. Just get back in your car, do a huge burnout, and yell "Get a real job, hippie!" as you throw some pennies in his face and drive off laughing.

Depends if he hits something or not....LOL

I don't know. Granted I'm stingy at times with my money, but i don't like tipping people when they are already doing their job. Certian things i don't mind, like resturaunts. (good service=better tip)

Exactly. Waitresses don't make minimum wage so it is expected to tip them. But this guy will be making minimum wage and doing something I'd rather do myself if I was allowed to.

I took my car through an automatic car wash in delaware a few months ago, and in the 10 seconds the asshole who drove my car onto the rails adjusted EVERY DIMENSION of my power seats and my tilt wheel. I'd have tipped him with a tire iron to the face if I had to do it all over again and I will NEVER go back to that car wash.

Edit: even though he was my height and size, he pushed the seat all the way down and reclined it like a freaking simmian or something :| I've never been so irate with service and my car in my entire life....
