Do i still need the cd rom drive

right now i have a Tech 40x cd rom i believe, along with a lite-on 16x dvd rom pioneer dvr-105 and a plextor 40x, do i still have a need for the standard cdrom

No. I have a Pioneer 16x DVD drive and it reads all of my CDs just fine.

No reason to keep it...I got rid of my 52X CDROM when I installed the A05 with my Plextor 48X and Pioneer Slot load DVD...wanted the bay cleared too and no need for Opticals out the gazoo
