Do I really need 10 megs down?

  • Hell yes you do! Don't even think about slowing down.

  • Nah, you'll probably be fine with 2.

  • Hell no, drop down to 2, or even less.

  • Which way did he go, George?

When I finally got off Dial-up down at the old farm, I got 1.5 Mbps, blazing fast for me! LOL.
Had 10 Mbps with Time-Warner, then 10 with Comcast.
Now at the new farm, getting 3 Mbps.
Can't nor ever could tell any difference in any of them.
Maybe because I don't game nor download large files or torrents.
(The only time I noticed "slow" "High Speed" was at a jobsite with 756(?) Mbps, better than Dial-up, but still slower than I like.

(Might add: I signed up with Windstream, the only provider here, they stated I couldn't get 3 Mbps this far out, only 1.5, but I still get 3!)

:hmm:

I think Brighthouse uses Roadrunner everywhere.

One thing I miss about Comcast was all the free speed bumps I got. I am not sure if they do that now or not, but I got 3 or 4 free speed bumps over the course of the 10 years I had them. Brighthouse doesn't seem to do that.

Loving Brighthouse i think for $15 more you go from 7 to their turbo i did and i love it.

Their lightning speed package is super insane and they want $50 to come out and set it up and i passed.

Two computers soon 3 a Wii that does netflixs and maybe a ps3 on the way that does this too.
