So I'm on my way home from work and there are always a bunch of african-american kids standing around and this day they asked me for some money that i owed to them for bringing them over here and having them as slaves. Do African-Americans still think that after all this time that i owe them....



Along with all this equal opportunity stuff where certain people can live for 2 dollars a month and take the rest out of my paycheck in taxes, then they work for 10 hours a week and play basketball all fscking day then have the audacity to ask me for money. Oh yeah, and if they're from iowa they suck even more

its just the fact that, (starting rant here) i went to a better than average HS if you know what i mean, and every year certain people would get to come in and attend free (from uncle sam) they didn't want to learn anything and were really rowdy all the time...


from their point of view, I deserve just as good education as mr. "rich" guy over there.

from my point of view, sure, come on in and learn w/ me if you really want to, but if your only there to hinder my learning experience and you don't want to climb out of poverty, and your completely happy working your 10 hours at walmart for min. wage to stay under the poverty line and get food stamps and cheap a$$ rent, then please, stay away from me.



sorry if i offended anyone, but i live in the ghetto (renting a house w/ some guys in college) and my vehicle has been broken into twice already, and 2 of my roomate's vehicle also.

I hear you, I am in a similar environment (and I grew up in the woods, 15 miles from *anywhere*) and I sympathize completely. Equal rights is a joke. I am *not* prejudiced against any race, but I think it is unfair that there are so many minority-only scholarships out there. There are no 'cracker-only' scholarships....
I've had this one guy knock on my door 3 times asking for money, or a ride, or anything. Everytime he stood 3&quot; from my nose because he was so intent on looking into my living room. It made me uncomfortable. The third time he knocked, I told him, &quot;next time, I'm either gonna call the cops or blow your fvckin head off, bud&quot; I havent seen him since. I've put an alarm on my truck since then. I never used to keep loaded guns in the house. That has changed. I work hard, and expect the same from other taxpayers. No free rides.

People lets look at the facts:

-Africa has a history of slavery since the days of who-knows-when. As a matter of fact there is evidence that the slaves brought over from Africa were actually captured by Africans and sold into slavery to the slave ship captains.

-Slavery is a horrible thing to endure, this we all agree with, no problem. But, to punish me becasue my grandfather enslaved/or murdered your grandfather is just ignorant. Heck, if you want to go even farther back every person related to someone who was sacraficed to the gods should get something from the murdering family. All this history says you owe me crap is just silly.

-Today the African-American population is FREE to go back to Africa at any time. Nobody is stopping them, i'm not are you? Heck, a few years back a white supremist offered to buy (1) way tickets back to Africa for anyone that wanted them, as long as they signed a legal paper saying they will never return to the US. Nobody took him up on that offer...

-Todays education system is geared to pacify the poor children of America. 60% of poor children in the 4th grade can't read. Yet, these same teachers that CAN'T seem to teach our children to read, are SOMEHOW qualified to teach them Sex education, go figure...

-Knowledge is power! Yet, everyday our children are taught less and less.
-FACT: 3rd world nations have Math scores 3x's the US! Yet, these countries spend 1/3 the money to educate compared to the US. Now i say either this is planned to happen or our educators are dumb as rocks.

My point is pity the dummy that thinks you owe him. The fact is they have been used and abused by the system, no different than days gone by...

I don't consider myself rich, but i work hard(not really) but work long hours and go to school. about 3 weeks ago i had 1400 bucks in stereo stolen out of my explorer, (2nd time in was broken into) plus i completely shut off my radion when i'm w/in 8 blocks of my house, now i'm not saying it was a minority that did it but i now feel like i can't have anyting nice. I grew up in small town nebraska where there were no minorities and no one locked their doors, seriously! but now i moved to a bigger city and I feel threatened. I already feel violated...



Plus those scholarships are a joke, given there are a few who want to move up in the world, but many of them grew up like that, (food stamps, poverty level, and such) and they are gonna live like that and teach their *gasp* children that too.

Story:
Let's say Mr. Whitey buys $500,000 dollar house, Gov't decides to put up low cost housing in Whitey's back yard. What happens to his house value?
$100,000 if he's lucky now. It seems that as soon as one of those government assisted housing project gets built, (those are really nice places by the way) they only last for about 6 months before they are trashed. and the whole area is deemed a ghetto.

I agree w/ you completely, Education quality is declining exponentially and I don't think it's the teachers fault to the full extent. the kids have got to want to learn first. i went to a private school and was taught by nuns until 5th grade, we were hit and spanked many times if we were bad. that's the key, teachers should be able to punish students while they are still malable.


in my town of 700 people we had 2 schools, a private(catholic) and a public school, Out of 35 kids in my graduation class, 34 of us went to college (all caucasion) the public schools 35 students (all caucasion also) about 10 went to college, I know this because i partied w/ most of them on the weekends. teachers should be able to use punishment up to a certain degree until the child is a certain age. It seems like kids today feel like they can't be punished at all. even parents can't hit their kids. its messed up.

Digging through my family history i find:

Fathers side came over from germany/norway/etc and hauled butt straight into Minnesota/Dakotas area. We think they had family that was already here so they followed them straight there. No stops down south, no slaves, did-not-pass-go no $200.

Mothers side Arizona based for centuries, American Indian you see.


Centuries ago people starved if they refused to work. Today you get a house/food/and money for smokes, if you refuse to work. Life is soo tough in todays world...
