Do I need ZoneAlarm Pro while running a wireless router?

I just recently purchased a Netgear MR814 Wireless Router and run Windows XP Pro. I currently have ZoneAlarm Pro installed on this machine. Do I need to continue to run ZoneAlarm Pro on this machine now that I have the router? I assume I'll want to install it on my laptop that has the wireless card?

the good thing about zone alarm is that it monitors outgoing connections. so if you get a trojan or a program trying to connect to the net that shouldn't, you can stop it. most wired/wireless routers do not stop outgoing connections...

Yup, routers don't stop outgoing. Never really have enough protection.

Also make sure you setup the WEP on the wireless connections.

Better still, update the firmware to get wpa encryption.
