Do I need to uninstal MS Office if building a new machine?

I'm building a new machine and will be reinstalling all the software. Do I need to uninstall MS Office (2007) from the old box before reinstalling it on the new box?

I wasn't sure if MS tracks serial number to MAC address or something along those lines.

MS can determine if a given serial ID is activated or not. If you want to activate it anew, uninstall it from the old system.
