I bought a 7900gt at launch. the overclocked evga version, but i've never oc'd it past factory.
Lately i've been getting weird texture problems... texture smearing all the way across the screen. Player models in CS:S randomly having long (5ft scale wise) black lines juting from their sunglasses. This would be a problem with the video card memory, no?
 
Sounds like memory.
Happend to me, but only when I vmodded it. As soon as I took the vmod away it went back to normal.
It can also happen (I guess) with just regular OCing but since you didn't, I think it's safe to say it's RMA time.

Well, at least it's evga. You'll have your card within a week.
