Do I need to readjust CPU Cooler

I have the i5-6600 non-k and had to replace the stock cooler because of a bad pushpin. I got a 212 evo installed now but it is possibly slightly crooked due to it turning when I was installing the fan; I turned it back but it's not perfectly straight when lined up against a ruler.

It's a non-k skylake chip so temps are not really a concern, with the highest temp being 41C after 45 minutes stressing everything in Aida. Repasting and dealing with the awful 212 mounting again is a headache, but should I reinstall to be safe?

Safe from what? My overclocked processors show 41C (sometimes) at idle.

It seems your OCD concerns about this are cosmetic appearances?

The only time I'd worry about your imperfection in the 212 EVo installation would arise if I were building an exhaust duct for the cooler for a precision fit.

The cooler being slightly crooked shouldn't matter to cooling, but if the aesthetics bother you too much, just grab the cooler and turn it until it's mostly straight. There's no need to unmount it.

It is a windowed case so I was mostly thinking about aesthetics. The second core is always hotter than the rest, getting up to 41-42C while the others stay around 36C with stress. With previous processors I had noticed it was always the first core so I was thinking my current results were due to messing up the paste a bit when I rotated it back.

More or less just double checking than a concern. Thanks, guys.

Hi ..I think Its not due to the past ...Two cores have different function not the same ..So 1 could be processing the more data rather than other thats why one remain cool but the other got heat..But i am shure that its not due to the Past as you said missing..

As the ''Yuriman'' i think He is right also ..
