Not a problem. Be a good husband. You might even enjoy yourself (but you don't have to tell anybody).

As long as you plug your ears when he is playing the Disney era stuff (i.e. post mid 80s), you are ok.

Nothing wrong with Elton...he's talented enough....just don't start dressing like him and you'll be fine.

I always thought "Rocketman" was a euphemism...

I'd go no matter what anybody said. Considering my job, I'm sure they would say a lot, too. lol

If you went in "fuck me" pumps and threw your panties on the stage, then yeah. Otherwise it's iffy but acceptable.

Yeah, he only has to hand in his man card if he swallows.

As long as your wife is with you and nothing you are wearing is pink, polkadot or rainbow you are safe.

Hell No. Elton John is classic.

Now if you were going to a Barry Manilow concert...I'd punch you in the face.

My wife won tickets on the radio and he's going to be playing here on the 29th.

I didn't want to at first, but looked up some of his old stuff which is pretty good... but it's Elton John. :(

My coworkers say my man card can stay intact as long as I don't cry if he plays Candle in the wind. ;)

Jugs

If YOU wanted to go because you like his music, it would threaten your manliness. Going because your WIFE wants to go? That's just being a good husband, which is manly.

Nah, he's talented enough that your man card is safe. Now if you went to a Kenny G or Michael Bolton concert, i think you'd have to turn your man card in.

I'll be honest with you, I love his music, I do, I'm a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman".

Aye. Elton's music is great, I'd like to go to one of his concerts also.

I went to a Hanson concert. It got me laid, though. I didn't have to pay for the ticket and aside from their earlier stuff, it wasn't THAT bad. Meh. I consider it "breaking even".
