Hi, I have a Radeon 9700 Pro and have been using Catalyst 4.3 for a few weeks now with no problems. I play UT 2004 mostly, some Age of Empires II, with no errors. Should I download and install the Catalyst 4.6 package. Will this benefit me a lot? I do not overclock at all.

I think the Cat 4.7s are supposed to offer some nice performance boosts.

Cat 4.6 was for the entire ATI line. There were important bug fixes like the Gamma and color calibration bug, feature additions for YPbPr support and OpenGL acceleration fixes.

Each driver set includes a
Release notes that you can read and decide if it includes fixes for issues you are having, or new features enabled that you might want to use.

jjj807,I would wait and install the 4.7s which are due real soon(this or nextweek).Normally I would say always upgrade to the latest official drivers where possible since every new release has bug fixes etc.....

I always use Driver Cleaner as well to make sure all the old ATi registry files have been removed.
