Hello, I am going to china (beijinjg, guangzhou, suzhou, shanghai) for a week. Does anyone know if I need to get any vaccinations?

oh wow, i went to the exAct same places for my touring trip lol

yea, i'd get the bird flu one and any sars one just in case they've invented one already 😛

You want Hep. A. That's recommended by the CDC. No one here gets Hep. A vaccination (we get Hep. B here), so yea.. there's one you should definitely get. That's all.

Oh maybe Malaria, but I thought we get that by default here.

oh yeah, many asians have hep b antigen (A molecule whose shape triggers the production of antibodies or immunoglobulins that will bind to the antigen. A foreign substance capable of triggering an immune response in an organism.) as well as antigen for TB (tuberculosis, A bacterial infection affecting primarily the lungs, more common in urban areas, treatable with antibiotics, though resistant strains are appearing.
