Hello everyone! I just finished getting the motherboard in my sig installed this morning. I have a hand full of spare SATA ports and the external hard drives I have support E-SATA and included a bracket to mount E-SATA ports on the back panel.
My question is whether or not I need to enable anything in the BIOS or Vista to make the E-SATA drives removable like a USB drive would be? I used to run an eVGA 680i and there were E-SATA settings in the BIOS that I had to turn on. I just don't want to hook it up and toast my new baby!
Thanks everyone!
