Sorry, newbie here.

I am using AMD TB 1GHZ and Asus A7V133. It is running at 100MHZ now, do I need to enable DDR so that it will run at 200? If so, how?

How do I know if my CPU is running at 200 DDR? Any utility to proof that?

Thanks.

Hit the DEL key during the POST to enter the BIOS.

The speed you set is dependent upon your RAM and what verson Tbird you have. Do you have PC100, PC133, PC150, or PC160 RAM? Is your 1Ghz Tbird a 200FSB or a new revision C 266 FSB CPU?

Need data on your RAM and CPU to proceed.

You can use Oda's CPU utility, but if it's an ASUS A7V133 MB, it runs on DDR always.

Since your CPU is a 200 Mhz FSB, that means it's running at 100 Mhz x2 (DDR). The Bios will state 100 Mhz for the FSB and RAM, but for the CPU it's actually that setting x2. For example, if you set it to 105 Mhz, your RAM will run at 105 Mhz and your FSB will run at 210 Mhz (105 DDR).
