Do I need to do the the gold bridge mod to OC TBird 850 to 1 Gig

The title is basically my question. I've heard a lot about connecting these points using a conductive pen. Is this necessary in order to overclock a T-Bird 850 to 1 Gig. I'm going to use a ABIT KT7-RAID mb.

Exactly what points do you connect?

You conect the l1 briges on the cpu. Yes you need to unlock the cpu in order to adjust the multiplier.
