yes if u make i thin over 6500 or so u have to do it.

i did mine this year and it came out to zero dollars for around $1100 taxable income. but last year i had to pay taxes, and my income was only around $3500 or so. don't know if that helps. it only takes like 5 minutes once you've done the federal taxes, might as well just see. i think if you made any money, you're at least supposed to file, even if you don't owe them anything.
