Do I need to do anything to enable dual channel ram?

Just got a second 512MB stick of DDR400 ram. I know my motherboard supportd dual channel memory, but I'm not sure if I have to enable it somehow. Is there any way to see if it's enabled?
 
Look in your motherboard manual. On my board it wanted the two sticks in dimm2 and dimm3 no idea what it is on your board. Maybe some specs on your system would be helpful...
