Do I need to call MS?

I will be installing my new MB today. Do I need to call microsoft and tell them to unactivate my windows so I can activate it with my new MB?
 
Install the motherboard, install Windows, call them if you can't activate over the net (assuming you have a retail version of the OS).
 
[*] If you have a Retail copy of XP, you will only need to call if you are prompted to activate.

[*]If you have OEM then you are supposed to purchase a new copy of the OS since it is tied to your old system. This is why OEM software is cheaper, but this is also why it's a good idea to buy Retail unless you're into piracy.
