I am building a new computer, and I didnt think about it untill now. Does the new cpu come with thermal grease or should I have bought some?

If you bought a retail processor, the heatsink should have a thermal pad on the bottom of it, which is fine for your use (if not overclocking). Never, EVER, mix the two. Scrape off the pad if you do buy grease, or else you could have very poor contact between the heatsink and the chip.

usually the heatsink (if its stock from retail box) comes with a square of thermal grease and you just push and clip it on.

If you use the pad make sure to peel off the protective plastic cover prior to install
