Do i need the software that comes with sblive? or just the drivers?

Just wondering as all i want to do is listen to cds and play games(no editing or midi )
Ive heard of many conflicts with livewire 2 and 3 and the kt-7 motherboard and realluy wondering what to do?
Do i need the software or just the drivers?

I would just get the drivers. The software sucks anyways. IMO.

Yeah I use the drivers only..have no need for the extra fluff...

Just the drivers though I did need the Liveware! to get my surround sound speakers to work since changing it in Multimedia properties did not work.

The extra software is kinda cool about once, then it just takes up space. The demos are interesting but nothing worth going out of your way to install.
