Do I need the Nvidia Refresh Rate Fixer ?

Hi
I see that there is mention about a program that fixes the Nvidia refresh problem in XP. From what I read, it says that XP sets the refresh rate at 60hz and that this "fix" will allow you to make changes.
I have not downloaded it and not sure if I need it. I checked the refresh rate options under ADAPTER and I can go as high as 100hz. So, should I use this Fix or not ?

Try running OpenGL game in XP or Win2K ,mine was stuck at 60hz until I installed the Windows 2000/XP NVidia Refresh Rate Fix ,how to use it then read this .
