Do I need the Microsoft Hotfix for dualcore, if I have the E6300 Conroe?

Hotfix. I notice I had to use it for the AMD X2 but I now have the e6300 Conroe and wondering if I need to apply any fixes for it?
Hardforum post, and it's for the dual core gaming fix.

Unless you have problems, you don't need it.

I've been running my X2 with just AMD's X2 driver and AMD's dual core optimizer and it's been fine. No hotfix needed here.
