Do I need the a Memory pack or just get 2 stick of memory?

I am planning to run a Dual Channel setup on IC7-MAX3 2x512MB. Should I get the memory pack or just buy 2 stick of 512 MB. The pack usually cost $30 or $40 more.

If you buy the memory from the same place, and it's the same brand/model you should be fine. But to be safe you can always buy a memory pack. I have two sticks of Corsair XMS PC3200C2 512M, but they're different versions, so they aren't the exact same memory chips. I bought them about 6 months apart, though.

u can get 2 seperate sticks but usually its cheaper to get the 2 pack

As was said, if you buy from the same place at the same time, you should be fine. If you want to guarantee you get identical sticks get the package. I have no idea about price, as far as which is cheaper.
