Do I need special software to burn an SVCD?

I want to burn an SVCD so I can play it on my DVD player, but I can't burn it with nero. Do I need a certain software to burn it? Thx.

I think you can just use adaptec ez-cd creator 4.

The apex dvd player that I have can just play mpeg1 files straight off the disk with no formatting (just pick them from the mp3 menu).

Nero can burn SVCDs, you should check to make sure the file(s) you are trying to burn follow the VCD standard, for more help on buring VCDs and SVCDs check out the following site.
