Do I need some vaccines?

During christmas time, I'll be going on a carribean cruise from Miami. Its 4 days long, and there's a stop in key west and mexico. The company I'll go with is Carnival (a big cruise company). But do I need to get vaccines before going? (Hepatitis and other stuff?)

I know its quite important to get some when going to mexico or south america, but since the ship is american, I thought it would be quite clean.

So, what do you think?

those cruise ships seem to keep having all these sickness outbreaks, i don't know if a vaccine will help against that

They actually would not help. They're viruses that are occuring on those cruises. There are really no vaccines for viruses.

Uhh...vaccines exist for viruses. Did you mean there are no vaccines for the virus(es) that are making people sick on the ships?

Ditto... I remember getting a flu vaccine... and, if I'm not mistaken, influenza is a virus.

Well, I was thinking more of an hepatitis vaccine (hepatitis A and C can be transmitted in water and food 🙁
