I hope you don't mind advice from a Team Starfire member? 🙂 I'm sure your teammates would agree and add more reasons to run a Queue.
I would recommend it. The reason being that you would have WUs always available to your lab computers if the Internet access was down. It would also serve as a central way to monitor the output of your lab. You would have to be able to run it on a computer that could always be on so it can download and upload WUs at times you decide on.
I think it is also a good idea. However, if your situation is not condusive to running setiqueue (no computer that you can leave on 24/7) just use setidriver and/or one of the team setiqueues.
Also there is a service install for seti that would work great in your situation. You would have to visit each computer and install them individually off a floppy disk but its a peice of cake. When you are done seti and setidriver will be installed and the only way you will be able to tell they are running is if you hit ctrl-alt-del. Also it will run no matter what user is logged in and even when the computer is on but nobody is logged in. I could email it to you so you could check it out.
Make sure to get permission in writing before you start. Big problems can arise if you do not have that as backup, and someone recinds their permission.
