Do I need EATX power supply for Conroe?

I've just purchased P5W DH and a conroe, all I need to know now is do I need an EATX power supply or can I use my normal ATX that I use currently with my P4 S478?

I have no idea why you think you'd need an EATX PSU, any good PSU will work. Conroe uses far less electricity than the P4s, not more.

EDIT: The only reason you'd need any kind of fancy PSU is if you have a bunch of HDDs or (more likely) a top-line vid card.

And wouldn't you know it... I *do* have a lot of HDD's (6 to be exact). I'm just wondering if there was a different power connector for the motherboard (i.e. different pin layout), so I don't get a big surprise when making the move over.

Whether or not you need an EPS12V/SSI or some other special power connector depends on your MB, not on the CPU per se. And the EPS12V/SSI connectors are typically only used on server MBs. Check the specs for your MB.

Well I just got my board today.. and yes the ATX power connector on the motherboard is different from the power suppplies... sheesh!

I guess I need atx 2.0

EATX and ATX v2.0 aren't the same, but you might be able to run by plugging the 20pin connector into the 24 pin socket. It's what I did with my 3200+ socket 939.
An adapter would also work, so would a new PSU.
