Do I need Detonator Destroyer if I upgrade from GF2 GTS to a GF4 4200?

When I install my GF4 4200, Do I need to run the Detonator Destroyer program to clean out all of the old drivers? I am currently running version 4.13 from nVidia on my GF2 GTS.

;) It's recommended to try it, also install the latest drivers and then reinstall DX8 too. At least manually uninstall your current drivers and maybe delete the INF file, you may have to do a fresh OS install to get things working properly whether that's down to M$, highly optimised drivers or a ploy by gfx card makers to prevent users switching to a diff card.

Though I have many times installed dets over older versions, even after upgrading an nVidia card, (with no problems what so ever) it's best if you remove old drivers before installing a different set.

That way you're sure any performance increase/decrease/no change is from the new version.

i've never had a problem replacing older nvidia cards with newer ones and just installing the newest drivers over the old ones. i wouldn't sweat it.
