I am about to upgrade my system from a k6-3 400 to a PIII 700. Do I need to add a case fan? If so, any recommendationss for an enlight 7327 case?

thanks

You'll need good airflow in your case, so yes, you will need case fans. A good HSF wouldn't hurt either. Might I suggest an Alpha PAL6035? $25 at www.2cooltek.com. Dont forget your thermal compound!

i have a alpha 6035 on my pIII 700 and it running at 933 w/ 1.65v 22 - 38 degree. i think if you have a good hsf, you probably don't need case fans. but i have antec sx1000 w/ 4 case fans to keep my case temp low.

Read your other thread. I said that the PAL6035 wont work with your SECC2 CPU. You'll need the Alpha P3125.

i didn't know you have slot-1 p3 700. pal6035 probably won't fit on a slot-1 cpu.

It won't "probably" not fit, it WILL not fit. SECC2 CPUs dont even have the ZIF socket to mount the HSF to ;)
