Do I Need A Wireless Adapter....

Hi, if I build a new computer today in 2013, do I still need to purchase a seperate wireless adapter to get internet wirelessly for $10 - $20 bucks or is this built into the motherboards or something these days?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks.

Depends on the board you select. It is not a standard part, but some mobos come with wireless. It's probably not as cost-effective as getting a separate card or USB adapter unless you need the features on the mobos that come with integrated WiFi.

Yeah because I see the adapters for like $15 bucks or less that just go into a USB slot in the back of the computer so I think thats cheap enough. lol. : ]

There are motherboard models out there with wireless built in, but last time I checked they are a larger price increase than just buying a USB wireless adapter.
