Do I need a new PS to overclock a PIII 700?

I am thinking of replacing my K6-3 400 with an ABIT BE6, PIII 700. My enlight case has a 250watt enlight PS. Will that PS allow me to overclock the PIII 700 or do I need a new more powerful one?

Trying to keep my $ investment down to a minimum.

Thanks,

Mattlock

You should be covered if you have the ATX connector and the "AT" connector also. Some boards need it, others don't. You really don't have to worry about the 4 "Square" Power connectors until high Athlon and Pentium 4 boards.

The chipset and RAM will be the limiting factor. It may, or may not do 133. Hope so, cause I have run a 700 at 133 for over a year on a BF6.

Chipset is an ABIT BE6 (not the BE6-II) and Crucial PC133 CAS2. Any thoughts?
