Hi,
I was wondering, do i need to download a new bios for my 9700pro to enable OCing?
I was under the impression that i didnt, and only the 9500/9700np needed a new bios.

Can someone conferm this for me?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.

K then thanks.
I know the actual speed of the memory on the card, i wanted to know what the ns rating of the memory was, and what speed that coresponds to, ie; theroectical maximum speed.

 That doesn't really amount to anything, only thing to do with any degree of safety is go up in small steps testing thoroughly at each setting and then backing off a few notches when you find the limits. If you want a rough guide of what 9700PRO achieve, they tend to go from 325/620 to 360/680 or there abouts. Unlike the 9500-9700 they are pretty near the limits by default.

I thought that the theoretical maximum for the "stock" memory chips was something like 714mhz?
