Do i need a domain name? or just an ip

i want to register with, godaddy... but dont got a cool name can i get by with i.p. address?

google it and can find info
 
You could use them as a host and use their webserver without a domain name. But you could get a better hosting deal than that.
 
man sorry for the confusion, i want hosting, but don't have a domain name, can i still access the site by the ip? or do u need a domain?,

Do you have a static IP address?
 
There are some hosts that will allow you to register without a domain name, you can get an IP address and/or an instant access domain alias. Most H-SPhere hosts will allow this.
