I just changed to corp2corp from W2 and opened a corp on my apartment address.
Do I need to get a business license ?
Am I allowed to open a business with the aprt. address ?
 
You should check your lease agreement to see if you are allowed to run a business out of your apartment.
 
Check with your local government,

They should be able to answer all of your questions.

Laws differ from one locale to the other.
