Do i need 2 8800GTXs for a Samsung 28 inch LCD Monitor?

Well first off, i already have a GTX and i always wanted to upgrade my monitor from a 20 inch to 28 or even 30 (if need be).

My question is do i really need another GTX for SLI to support higher resolutions for games like COD4 and CRYSIS or i guess i would ask if having to uprade to a 28 or 30 inch monitor, would need another GTX?

Any advice would help alot

Personally, I would tink that 768mb of video memory would be enough for a 28", might wanna do some googling though.

Oh ok i pretty much had been thinking about that since alot of people had said in the past that 2 GTXs is not really at all necessary for todays applications as i heard that the current 30 inch LCD monitors dont have a fast enough response time to keep up with a GTX let alone 2 of them. Yet im still skeptical about the whole 30 in monitor/ GTX video card thing.

This article should give you a good idea of the current state of 1920x1200, 2560x1600, and single/dual/triple 8800. Granted these numbers are for the ultra so just shift everything down a little for your GTX.
