Do I have to worry about overheating if I overclock my 9600?

Yeah, just curious. I know the 9600Pro has a fan but the 9600 doesn't. If I overclock the 9600 to Pro speeds should I add on some kind of fan or will it be fine?

I would definitely add some sort of fan. Even bolting a little 40mm fan somewhere on the hs would be good. Plain heatsinks run kinda hot to begin with and overclocking would probably run that 9600 a little too hot.

Same here, I have an old retail AMD heatsink mounted on mine and it's barely even warm to the touch at 500+
