Do I have to burn Mandrake 8 to a cd????

or can i just leave it on my HD and install from there?

and how do you get from the console in mandrake 7.1 to the desktop? I have a Radeon AIW...

head over to linuxnewbie.org or mandrake.com and read the newbie documentation. it'll help you tons when setting up with linux. i personally have no use for linux software but might get into it later for fun. peace out.
