Do I have to adjust a new LCD?

I've ordered my very first LCD (Sceptre X20WG Naga from negg). Plan to use it mainly for my PS3, but might use it for PC, as well.

Do I have to adjust/update/tinker with this monitor in any way? (firmware? adjusting colors? ) What and how?

When I got my dell I adjusted the colors a little. They weren't "off" but it helped a little. You probably won't find anything wrong, but you might be able to make it a little better. You have an ATI card, so I do not know if they have this setting, but I put nvidia's "digital vibrance" up to 9% as well. That made the colors a little richer in my opinion.

Probably the ATi drivers will detect the LCD and show me some new options (right now I'm still on CRT).
