To be pissed off at my mom for printing up all of her notes on her tiny little ink jet printer instead of letting us get her a laser jet printer? She has been printing hundreds of pages of her notes for school (mid life crisis?) and because of this, she has had to constantly replace the ink cartridges.. I personally think that she should just get a laser printer because it's really not economical to do this...
 
So you're getting angry at her using her money however she wants? 😕

I mean, you can politely tell her the reasons you think it's be a better idea to invest in a laser printer, but getting mad at her for it - that's a little too much.
 
As said above, you have every right to be mad, but it's just not worth it. Let her print those hundreds of pages, it shouldn't concern you, should it?

My mom is also going to school. Is it popular for moms to go to school?

Who said it was HER money? She doesn't earn money for this house and hasn't for at least two decades... Sure she is still my mom, doesn't mean she has the right to waste money...

Pretty arogant of you to get pissed off about something this petty. I would drop this attitude before you get a wife, of I see a divorce in your future. As well, who are you to criticize your mom for going to school? Move out, pay your own bills, try to raise an ungratefull brat who bitches about a printer, and see if you feel like your missing something in life and want to go back to school.

And since you said it is not her money..take the damn money and go buy a laser printer.

I'm not mad that she is in school, I'm mad that she prints tons of pages with COLOR pictures in at as "her notes" and if she is going to do this, I'd much rather her do this with a laser printer...

Well here is what infuriates me the most. Her previous ink jet printer DIED, and I'm sure you can guess from what.. She buys ANOTHER ink jet printer and bought a bunch of ink cartridges which really pisses me off because I was ready to get her a laser printer... :|

Wow, this post made some sense from teh get-go. Just swap the old printer with a laser printer when she's out. Then smash up the bubble-jet. Simple.
 
Only thing I can think of is the fact that the inkjet is small and I don't think it will fit on her desk... I think she'd smash up the laserjet printer until she got her way and got her inkjet back, she did this a while back when she took a keyboard from a computer that wasn't hers. I replaced it with her original keyboard and she ripped out the keyboard, had a huge fit and started to cry and everything, over a damned keyboard.... I can only imagine.. I fixed her computer a while back (a whole year ago) and she has yet to use it because she is stuck on her laptop.
 
Get her an expensive laser so she can toss ahissyfittantrumortwo, break it, and only then you can get real mad for cause...
 
No, but you do have the right to tell your mom she is a moron for not printing them at school, where there are probably places to print for free that her tuition is probably paying for already.
