It's been a while since i've built a computer. My system looks like this:
Sapphire PE-AM2RS690MH -- AMD 690 chipset
Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (65W)
DVD-RW drive (SATA)
80Gb HDD (3.0Gb/s SATA)
1 DIMM 1GB DDR2 800 PC6400 RAM
and that's all.
I'm using this PSU:
FSP300-60THN ATX12V 2.01 300W Power Supply 115/220-240V UL 60950, CSA C22.2 Level 3
However, the mobo manual says:
"We recommend you use an ATX 12V spec2.0 PSU with at least 350W.
If you intend to use a PSU with 20-pin and 4-pin power plugs, make sure the 20-pin provides at least 15A on +12V and PSU has min rating of 350W."
So... is it possible to get by this, cuz i dont think this system will eat much power.. But then i'm not sure how to connect everything.
