ok so lemme explain quickly what i did.
i got a 3rd party HSF and used that with my cpu. what i did with my stock HSF was i pulled the fan out and used it as another fan in my case. i plugged it into the port on the motherboard called sys_fan2.
the fan itself is near where the grill is on the side of the case (where the window side is).
as such id like it to pull hot air out of the system.
However, instead, it is pushing air in (even the fins are pointed such that they push air out!).
so my question is, is there any way (preferably inside windows), to adjust the fan settings.
id also like to know for all the other fans as well.

thanks.

You will have to flip the fan to where you want it to go (in or out), cannot change direction of fan by software. controlling the fan speed is by using speedfan.

ditto.

Everytime I look at the Intel stock fan for the C2D and C2Q, I keep trying to figure out ways to use it. It's a beefy little sucker, isn't it? 0.40A. I wonder -- not having ever used the stock coolers -- how noisy it might be, but surely -- it can be tamed through mobo or Speedfan control . . . .

it cant be that i have to flip it becuz sometimes it pushes air out.
i can feel the difference easily cuz its a pretty strong fan.
im just hoping i can find a way to permanently make it move air out.

and bonzai, its a great fan it realy is. its acutllay very silent (at elast at the rpm that its at right now)
