I recently got my hands on a 6800GT from EVGA, and i decided to OC it a little. i hit 400/1100 quite easily so i decided to push it.

right now it is at 423/1.15Ghz at 52C idle/60C load. those temps seem very low for the clock speeds that im running. is this normal, or do i just have a good card.

**UPDATE**

425/1.18Ghz 53C/61C

HOLY CRAP! :)

well, many people have reached 420/1100, so I'd say you're in good company. I hope mine does as well too ;)

not shabby at all. my PNY 6800GT "only" went to 410/1100 before artifacting. after a bios mod i can go all the way upto 435. i kept the same bios in fear of... well anything. [seeing as it was my first nvflash/omnieditextreme experience i took it easy] i defaulted the bios to 400/1100 and 1.4v but im going to reflash tonight using the 5.40.02.15.07 PNY 6800 Ultra bios i have that defaults to 425/1100. temps are a little higher now at 400/1100 1.3v i idled at 51c now at 425/1100 (2d/3d) 1.4v i sit at 54c. during gaming though... ive gone from about 78c underload to 83c. thats after using some AS5 on everything.

must obtain DD waterblock....
or asetek better get off their arses and make a waterblock.
